ALUMINUM

Aluminum is probably the most popular type of furniture for outdoor use, and for good reason. Just on the practicality side, it is durable, yet lightweight, so it is very easy to move around as you see fit. Another huge benefit to aluminum is that it naturally disperses the heat, making it ideal for a hot day. Aluminum will also stay rust-free even after years of being exposed to the elements.

From the aesthetic side, patio furniture experts use a combination of extruded and cast aluminum to create designs that will look great with a contemporary or traditional home. There are even some aluminum sets that look like wicker or wood from a distance. The finish and fabric options on our aluminum furniture are essentially limitless. If you decide aluminum is the type of patio furniture for you, you will undoubtedly be able to find something that is cohesive with your home’s architecture and that you find visually appealing.

WROUGHT IRON

Simply put, wrought iron is strong and sturdy. If you live somewhere with heavy winds, wrought iron will definitely stay put. However, this weight can be a negative if you are looking for something that you can rearrange to your heart’s content. It will also rust over time. On the positive side, wrought iron can provide a majestic look on your patio, and if you are on a budget, it is a great alternative to our aluminum sets.

WOOD

There is something special about a high-quality wood patio set. The golden glow of the teak or the rustic brown of the Ipe will give your patio an inviting vibe that just screams relaxation. The wood patio furniture we sell has been constructed by craftsmen and is true heirloom quality. It will stay relatively cool to the touch and can be customized with a variety of cushions. The only downside is that some of the wood furniture requires a little bit of maintenance (i.e. cleaning and sealing) so that it can stay looking new. But that is a small price to pay to enjoy its many benefits for years to come.

Wicker Blog

WICKER

No patio furniture is more nostalgic than wicker. However, wicker has come a long way since your grandma was a kid, and it is now made to withstand all of the outdoor elements all year round. Our outdoor wicker collections are made with synthetic materials that have been perfected over generations to emulate real wicker without breaking down like real wicker does. Wicker furniture evokes feelings of warmth and tradition and is available in several different finishes and fabrics.
